Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary Brian & Dusty!!

Wow 25 years that seems like an eternity!!!! Brian and Dusty are two of my most favorite people in the world. They are wonderful. For those of you who don't know Dusty is Jeremy's older sister. These two are so fun and full of life, and they have alot to be proud of in there 25 years together. Their children surprised them with a party for their anniversary and here is a little recap...

Brushing our teeth...

This is the way we brush our teeth, brush our teeth.

Why you don't leave the frig open in our house....

She can hear the refrigerator door open half-way across the house and she comes running. She rearranges it most days.. notice the ketchup in the middle of the floor. Good times....good times.

The Lipizzaner Stallions

Last night Jeremy and I took the girls to see the Lipizzaner Stallions at the Ft.Smith Civic Center. It was a pretty good time. Jeremy really liked it and Brooklyn seemed pretty interested. Poor London is alot like her mother. We enjoyed it, but it wasn't quite our cup of tea. The horses were beautiful and very talented, however, we just couldn't get that into it. London said it was okay, but she didn't like what the people were wearing. (They were dressed from the 1700's.) She is a fashionable girl and she just couldn't appreciate anyone dressed like George Washington. So here is a small recap for those of you who missed the "World renowned Lipizaner Stallions."

Summer come quick!!

Ok. So I am so very tired of winter. I am ready to get outside, play in the yard, make some flower beds, and run out some energy. How do people survive in weather colder than this? Why would you want to? The only one happy about this weather in my house is Marley. One thing I have learned in the last 24 hours is how much my dog loves to be wet. (on his terms that is) In his past life he must have been a fish. I am ready for more daylight!!!! Playing with the kids in the back yard!!!! Not so ready for swimsuit season, but we will deal with that when it gets here. So my ode to spring and summer is this. Come quick!!! Sunshine helps my mood. And winter is bringing me down. Think of all the fun we will have: swimming, softball, the park, the drive-in, the lake, bike rides, long walks, and vacation!!!!! I promise I will never complain that it is to hot or to humid. So summer please come and save me!!!!!!!!

Dinner at Chili's

So tonight Jeremy and I decided to have a night out. (not alone....just out) London was at a birthday party so we ventured out with the always entertaining, Brooklyn. She is the busiest child you have ever seen during dinner in a restaurant- nothing goes untouched. We wrestle her back and forth the entire time we are eating. Some of you might be saying, "make her sit in a high-chair she has to learn." Guess what? I agree completely. However, I want to enjoy my dinner and so does everyone else around us. Not listen to her screaming momma with her hands stretched out like I am being so neglecting to her. So instead we tag-team back and forth. And for the most part it works. Well, tonight she grabbed her own fork and commenced to feeding herself Jeremy's philly cheesesteak sandwich. She loved it!!! She ate like it was her last meal! We cracked up. She would not stop. For once I had my camera and began snapping some shots. It was a moment worth remembering..

Upward Cheerleading

Ok. So this is it. I am done for the night!!!! Not the month.. just the night. Every Tuesday and Saturday we are cheering until the end of March. Yeah!!! London loves it!! Brooklyn runs crazy for an entire hour during the games and by the time we are done I am completely beat. Go UPWARD!!!!

Brooklyn's Room

I don't think I have shown off Brooklyn's new wall mural yet. This is so awesome. The colors seem a little off in the picture, but if you can't tell the room is hot pink and the tree is a chocolate brown. My cousin painted it in one day and even better, he painted it for free!!!!! Big Heart You, Ken!!! You Rock!!!

The Sweetest thing...

London is such a smart girl. She has become such a good reader this year. One of my most favorite times at night are when London is reading and Brooklyn is all over her trying to get close and soak up everything she is saying. London is very patient with her.....most of the time.

Christmas with all of the families....

Christmas was good this year. We love it, but are always happy to say goodbye until next year. To be honest I can't even remember what all we did because it has been so long ago.......haha. So I am just going to post a few pics and move on!!!!

Meet Marley "Mars" Crites

Marley, is our new Golden Retriever that Santa magically brought. Needless to say I was not as excited as the girls were in the beginning. He has grown on me over time though, and he is by far the smartest dog we have ever owned.

Where do I start?????????

I have been soooo very lazy with my blogging. Thank you, Angie, for pointing that out to me every single day. So here we go. A month of catching up. We have been busy. Since Christmas, we have gotten a new dog, London has began cheering (every Saturday), Jeremy has started a new job, Brooklyn is running now, and I have quit Smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we have had a year already full of new beginnings!!!
